BrightHouse are proud to sponsor the iconic Australian soap 'Home and Away'. 'Home and Away' has been on UK screens since 1988 and is based in the fictional Australian coastal town of Summer Bay. Originally 'Home and Away' focused primarily on Pippa and Tom who ran the Summer Bay Caravan Park and lived there with a succession of foster children

Only one character has been in the programme since the start, Alf Stewart who is played by Ray Meagher. Alf is a soap institution, famous for his expression 'You flamin great galalh!', he has owned a number of businesses during his time in the bay that have included a Bottle shop, Bait shop, General store, Surf Club, bar and now boat!
